A bigger world.
A closer look.

Your editor, your agents, your development desktop. A place to work with the models you choose — and see what every task costs.

THE DESKTOP TODAY

Less switching. More building.

IDeskop brings an editor, an agent conversation and your terminal into the same workspace. The current Windows development build has been tested with a local model reading files, making a change and running its verification command.

01

Work in context

Search your project, bring relevant files into a conversation, and keep tool results with the work that produced them.

02

Keep work visible

Follow file edits and terminal results. Reopen saved conversations and inspect the steps behind an answer.

03

Start locally

Connect a local Ollama runtime. Model availability and tool support are checked independently; discovery alone does not prove a model can run your task.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING

One desktop. A wider horizon.

These are active product goals. They are not a claim that every integration is available in the current build.

01

A model home without walls

Provider-native paid and free APIs, local runtimes and your own remote endpoints.

02

Every token accounted for

Usage, quotas, cost estimates, provider billing data and shared spending limits.

03

Agents that fit the task

Agent, Plan, BugReport, Multitask and Ask, with explicit permissions and reviewable changes.

04

Beyond the editor

Browser and computer control, SSH, MCP and scoped project instructions.

Clear from the start.

Can I download IDeskop now?

A public installer has not been released. Qualified releases will be published in our public GitHub repository.

Are AI model calls included in the subscription?

No. The IDE subscription and model usage are separate. Local runtimes and verified free tiers have their own availability and limits. Paid providers bill your account.

Does IDeskop support every provider today?

No. Expanding provider coverage is part of the roadmap. Each integration needs its own compatibility and usage tests.

Where is the project going?

Toward a development desktop with model choice, visible costs, careful control of computer actions and a complete project workflow. This page distinguishes the current build from planned work.

Look closer. Build further.
